At Treetop Pediatric Dentistry, we continue to offer stainless steel crowns, but also offer white crowns for front teeth or for patients who prefer to avoid silver crowns even on back teeth.

Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that can be found in our water, soil, and rocks. The discovery of the benefits of fluoride has been one of the biggest advancements in dentistry over the past 100 years, and it is no surprise that local and federal health agencies choose to have it added to our drinking water. Fluoride helps strengthen the enamel of both baby and permanent teeth, reverses early tooth decay, and inhibits the growth of bacteria on teeth.

During a visit to Treetop Pediatric Dentistry, patients will often have fluoride treatments to help prevent cavities and remineralize early carious lesions. The application of fluoride is painless and can be done quickly. Dr. Drake recommends fluoride treatment every 6 months, but these recommendations may change due to circumstances.
