Dr. Drake is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist. Originally from Leavenworth, KS, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2012. He chose to further his training by completing a general practice residency at Truman Medical Center – Lakewood in Kansas City and then went on to complete specialized pediatric training through his pediatric dental residency at NYU-Lutheran in Springfield, MO in 2015. He’s been practicing in the Kansas City area since.
Community Engagement
In addition to being board-certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Drake is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He cares deeply about giving back in the communities he serves and participates in various volunteer dental clinics in Kansas and Missouri including Team Smile and the Kansas and Missouri Missions of Mercy.
Family-Centered Care
Dr. Drake is specially trained to serve the needs of patients of all ages, from infant through young adult, including those with special healthcare needs. He likes to practice pediatric dentistry with a family-centered approach and strives to form long – term relationships with patients and their families by always doing what is best for the child.
Personal Life
Dr. Drake met his wife Lindsay after moving back to Kansas City and they were married in 2018. They enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spoiling their miniature bernedoodle, Weller. They are excited to welcome their first child, a baby girl, in late summer 2024.
